How does membership work?

Membership in the Richmond Figure Skating Club runs from July 1st to June 30th of the following year, following the same schedule that U.S. Figure Skating follows for their membership. Memberships aren't pro-rated because fees we collect from the skater are passed on to U.S. Figure Skating, and their rates are not prorated. The remaining portion of what you pay goes into the club‘s general fund as operating expenses.

Membership can be in one of several categories with varying prices for each. If you have questions about the appropriate level, please contact the membership chair at RFSCMembership@gmail.com for assistance. After you join, you will be added to the club‘s email distribution list and be eligible for club related activities. U.S. Figure Skating will mail you an ID card approximately 4-8 weeks later with your official U.S.Figure Skating registration number. That number will typically not change, and you will need to renew your registration through the club each year to keep your eligibility current and active with U.S. Figure Skating.

We send off our high school seniors with love and fanfare!

  • 4-year collegiate USFS membership for those skaters who plan to continue skating after high school

  • Seniors are highlighted on social media and the rink bulletin board

  • Spotlight on seniors at our holiday show

  • Recogntion via US Figure Skating Association graduating senior award.
