Greater Richmond Ice Theatre Open House & Tryouts
Welcome!
Established in 1995, the Richmond Figure Skating Club has grown from a handful of members to over 250 members. Skaters come from all over Virginia and the Atlantic region to participate in U.S. Figure Skating test sessions and competitions. The Richmond Figure Skating Club is a non-profit 501-3c organization formed to promote and support the sport of figure skating in the central Virginia region.
Our Facility
We operate out of SkateNation Plus, a single rink facility with attached arcade and Laser Tag center located in Short Pump, VA, in the northwest part of Richmond‘s metropolitan area. The competition rink is NHL regulation size, measuring 200 x 85 feet, and there is seating for approximately 250 guests. Our members also practice at Richmond Ice Zone in Midlothian, VA.

We have an operating board that meets quarterly and as needed to discuss club issues. Anyone is welcome to attend our board meetings. Please contact us in advance to let us know you are coming, and we would love to have you sit in.
