Subscription Ice

Subscription Ice is available only to members of Richmond Figure Skating Club. It is sold in series blocks of usually 12 weeks. Subscription ice is a major benefit of RFSC membership and is designed to reward those who commit to their ice in three-month blocks of time with a very advantageous pricing structure as well as first choice of freestyle sessions.

Skaters sign up for Subscription Ice at the beginning of each Series. Subscription payment is made either in full at the beginning of the Series or in two payments with half due at the beginning of the Series and the balance due half way through the series. Payment is due the 1st of the month BEFORE the series starts. Subscription levels may be changed at the half way point of the series if an increase in skating sessions is desired, however the Subscription levels may not be reduced unless reviewed by the Board of Directors. Unused sessions DO NOT carry over to the next Series!

RFSC also offers Freestyle passbooks. They contain 10 freestyle passes and DO NOT expire. They are valid on any open RFSC freestyle session. Additionally, RFSC offers a book of 15-minute passes. These may be used to augment a Freestyle session, to accommodate a lesson, or to skate just 15 or 30 minutes. These also do not expire and may be used on any available RFSC freestyle session.

If you are enrolled in Basic Skills, RFSC offers sessions for you to get additional practice. These sessions are the last two sessions daily and cost $5.00 for a 30 minute session. You may skate TWO sessions weekly at this price. You MUST have a coach your first time out. If you do not have a coach, check with Lisa Fuller, Basic Skills Director, or any RFSC Board member to help you find a coach for your initial sessions. Once your coach determines you are ready to skate on your own you may attend these sessions without a coach as long as you are enrolled in the Basic Skills Program.

The RFSC needs your help.  We need individuals who can serve as monitors for the club ice sessions.  If you are interested or have questions, please send an e-mail to clubice@richmondfsc.com.
