Minutes of the Board Meeting via e-mail – March 18, 2012

The regular meeting of the RFSC Board was held March 18, 2012 via e-mail.  Attendees were Julie Davi, Laurie Brand, Robbie Condit, Susan Markel, Karen Watson, Cindy Hamner, Anh Dao,  and Maria Lightfoot, Sid Tanu, Angi Edwards and Dawn Walker.

Old Business

Display case - Laurie is still working on getting the display case, should have within the month.  Would like to unveil around the time of the banquet.  Robbie – any update from Dawn on the list of names?

Test Session, Wed, April 4 - Susan is posting the volunteer sheet tomorrow at the rink. We have 3 judges confirmed and a fourth tentatively scheduled. They are Connie Povich, Jim V., Dennis M. And hopefully Dorothy Dodson.

Annual Meeting Sunday, May 20 - Cindy will let RFSC know about time and location for the event.

Governing Council - Robbie and Lea will be our representatives at the governing council. Charlottesville FSC will be voting by proxy through RFSC.  Tidewater also asked if they could have RFSC proxy votes but we cannot allow more than one club for proxy vote.  Julie will look into that.

Finances - Sid will start the tax work. Laurie will give Twizzlers tax info by hand to Sid to attach. Sid needs Judi Woolfolk’s address to send reimbursement check. Sid has paid the ice time for falling leaves. The return check Sid has not followed up on. He does not know the                                                 person/parents of that skater. Please let him know if anyone can help. (update:  this issue has been resolved)
